Tana D. Ruegamer

Tana D. Ruegamer

Director and International Student and Scholar Advisor

Tana Ruegamer joined Slater in 2018. She is responsible for immigration and cultural adjustment related advising, advocating for the needs of international students and scholars, and helping Wellesley's international population understand and comply with various and ever-changing immigration regulations. Tana comes to Wellesley from Harvard University's International Office as an advisor to students and scholars. Previously, she worked at Bentley University's Center for International Students and Scholars as the Assistant Director and as an adjunct lecturer in the Global Studies Department and at Boston University in the International Students and Scholars Office.

She was selected to participate in the Fulbright International Education Administrators Program (IEA) to South Korea in 2011. Currently, she is an adjunct faculty member at Lesley University where she teaches a graduate course focusing on international student services.

Tana graduated with a Master of Arts in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University in 2005 and recently completed a graduate certificate in organizational Behavior from the Harvard University Extension School.

In her spare time, she coaches adult salsa dancing classes at a studio in Cambridge.

Jill Ostrowski

Jill Ostrowski

International Student Advisor

Jill Ostrowski recently joined Slater in October 2019. She is responsible for immigration advising for international students. Previously, she worked at Wheaton College’s Center for Global Education as an Associate Director advising international students, scholars and study abroad students. Prior to that she worked at Boston University in the International Students and Scholars Office. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a concentration in International Relations from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Jill’s favorite hobby is her love of travel and learning about new cultures. She falls in love with every country she visits so it is very hard to have a favorite. She enjoys sharing her passion with her children and husband.

Leanne Dolat

Leanne Dolat

Program Coordinator

Leanne Dolat joined the Slater International Center in 2018. She has experienced studying abroad in South Korea and has spent two years teaching English in the city of Daejeon. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Maine and a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Merrimack College. She worked at Merrimack College’s office for International Student Support and she strives to support international students to ensure their position transition into the college campus environment.

Leanne enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes. She is currently learning how to make kimchi. She has travelled to South Korea, Japan, and Ireland, and she hopes to travel more in the future. As Program Coordinator, she provides administrative support and programming coordination for the Slater International Center.

Jennifer Cammarn

Jennifer Cammarn

SEVIS Coordinator

Jennifer Cammarn comes to Slater after spending four years in Japan teaching English at the foot of the Japanese Alps. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies from Gettysburg College and a Master’s degree in International Higher Education from Lesley University. She has worked in Mount Ida College’s Center for Global Connections and Harvard University’s International Office with experience supporting international students and managing study abroad programs.

Jennifer joined the Slater International Center in 2017 and enjoys making technology work its best to support international students. In her free time she enjoys playing video games, cross-stitching, and being a great cat mom.
