All students attending college in Massachusetts are required by Massachusetts state law to enroll in a Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) or be covered by a health insurance plan with comparable coverage
Wellesley College will cover copayments up to $50 per visit for students receiving services at our campus health center．Wellesley College will not cover copays for specialist visits or any off-campus health care
You will not have to pay up front for any visits to Health Services．Newton-Wellesley Medical Group will submit claims for services directly to your insurance company. Students may instead elect to be billed directly for privacy or other reasons
You are responsible for any charges not covered by your insurance.How much you will pay depends on what insurance you have and what is covered under your insurance plan. You can find this information on your health insurance company’s website or by calling member services (the number on the back of your insurance card).
