This document will help you set up your computer to use Banner ERP and Discoverer Plus. Discoverer Viewer requires no further setup on your computer.
Windows 7 Setup
Prerequisites:
- Request the correct Banner ERP and Datamart security access
Note: you will need to file a request for accounts related to Budget Services. - Make sure you have a supported web browser
Issues you may encounter:
Issue:Banner ERP displays a warning "Java has discovered application components that could indicate a security concern" and asks if you want to "Block potentially unsafe components from being run?"
Solution:ClickNo. This error occurs due to new features in the latest versions of Java regarding unsigned components. This error will be resolved in an upcoming Banner upgrade.If you would like to stop seeing this error, click here for instructions to change theMixed code security verification.
