Linda Liu ‘19: “I love the lake...the spooners along the lake. That section down by the hills of Tower, where they have the little wooden protruding spots. I love being there and gazing at a distance, and watching the sunset over the lake. I also like Paramecium Pond, especially in the spring, with the baby geese. I also really like the Munger ramp...you can see everything from there.” ">

art sculpture along the lake [Robert Irwin sculpture, Untitled (Filigreed Steel Line for Wellesley College)]... also, I heard that there’s a sculpture in Paramecium Pond. Like, it’s just under there, and I want to find it. It’s an art department secret. I’m trying to convince someone to let me go look for this...it was a bronze sculpture, and it just sank down in there. There’s only one photo of it! I want to find it."">

south around the lake, there’s a little hill you can go up, and it’s really high elevation so you can’t see anything but the top of Tower Court and like, Galen Tower. If it weren’t for the Tower, and the sound of trains sometimes, you even forget that you’re in the suburbs. I like those secluded places.”">
